How it works:
This weapon when properly engaged, will disperse Nitro-C™, a highly concentrated formula designed to cause a severe burning sensation of the eyes and mucous membranes such as the nose and mouth. The resulting effects include the immediate and involuntary closing of the eyes, extreme coughing and breathing difficulty, and intense skin irritation.
When to use:
In a fight or flight situation, it is always best to avoid physical confrontation. This weapon should be used at your discretion, and only in self defense when there is imminent danger to yourself and your personal property. While this weapon is instrumental in providing protection to you, it is not a guarantee of your safety, and no warranties or guarantees are implied. There is no substitute for being prepared. Be aware of your surroundings and use common sense, but know that if you do find yourself in an uncomfortable situation, you now have the power to turn the tables on your aggressor, and the means to take control of the situation. Use FORCE!
How to use:
While gripping the weapon with your fist, move the top textured thumb plate forward in a sliding motion to light the LED. To fire the weapon, in one motion, slide the textured thumb plate forward and press downward (fig 1). Aim for the aggressor’s face and fire a steady stream horizontally from ear to ear (fig 2). To stop firing, release pressure. The effective firing range of the unit is approximately 1-12 feet (about 3.5 meters). Cylinder will fire 25 short bursts, or 8 seconds of continuous stream.

Do not apply salves, creams, oils,or lotions as they can trap the irritant against the skin and result in blisters or burns. Consult a physician and seek medical attention if irritation persists.

Care, maintenance, and
storage of the weapon:
The unit is designed for repeated use after the initial contents of the canister have been exhausted. To reload the Pocket Pistol, remove the canister clip at the bottom of the weapon, by prying at the seam where clip meets the unit, pulling outward. (fig 3). Prior to installing a new canister, use a cotton swab to clean the nozzle at the insertion point of the tip of the replacement canister (fig 4). Do not store the weapon in an environment where the temperature may exceed 120 F, as the unit may leak from over pressurization, and fail to function properly. Do not store the unit in an extremely cold environment, as this may cause depressurization and the loss of firing range. Batteries and LED are non-replaceable. Do not attempt to disassemble the unit for any reason.
